The Service Reception

The Prestige Automobile After Sales department utilises official BMW Technical Tools and strictly adheres to BMW's globally-recognised 8-step process to ensure the best service is delivered on every job. Our 5 Service Advisors and 3 Service Assistants are all highly-trained and BMW-certified.

The Prestige Automobile Workshop

Our workshop is operated by certified technical staff and is fully-equipped for complete diagnostics, testing and servicing. The workshop includes:
  • At-vehicle Consultations.
  • A Test Lane for Suspension & Break Testing, Noise Diagnostics and High Voltage Diagnostics
  • Energy Stations (Air & Current)
  • LAN Connections
  • Charging Capabilities.
  • Washing and Detailing Section (Launching in September 2017)

Training Department

Our training department is privileged to have our own highly-experienced, in-house BMW-certified trainer, enabling us to conduct BMW Courses at Prestige Automobile itself and ensuring each and every one of our staff are able to operate at BMW standards.

The Prestige Automobile Body Shop

Our state-of-the-art Collision Repair Centre is designed for efficiency delivery. Our Body Shop team are able to return a damaged vehicle to its original state and perform perfect cosmetic repairs. We were also the first automobile company in Sri Lanka to introduce water-based automobile painting, making us a pioneer in the field.

Warranty Department

Strengthened by our advanced technical capabilities, our warranty department is able to issue and fulfil warranty agreements that meet BMW, MINI and Hyundai standards.

Road Side Assistance

We offer a 24/7 island-wide Mobility Guarantee free for breakdowns and other issues that may affect the functioning of your vehicle while on the road. We are committed to ensuring, your car is restored to perfect condition as soon as possible.

Parts Department

We have established parts stores at the Prestige Automobile Workshop and Body Shop, all connected to our central warehouse which is handled by Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. This enables us to achieve a parts availability of 98% which is above the automobile industry's standard. In addition, we maintain a parts demand satisfaction rate of 93% which is on par with global standards and we initiate regular consultation programmes conducted by BMW, MINI and Hyundai, to ensure the parts department continues its robust operations.


The BMW and MINI After Sales Departments operate on BMW Global Standards, utilising the full range of official technical tools in conjunction with our highly-motivated and extensively-trained After Sales Team. We strictly adhere to BMW’s globally-recognised 8-Step Service Process to ensure an Original BMW Service experience for our valued customers.

Through constant training, tailored to the various roles within after sales, our staff is accredited with BMW certification for key positions i.e. After Sales Manager, Workshop Manager, Parts Manager, Service Advisor and Service Assistants. We assure that the quality of services offered at Prestige Automobiles is maintained at the benchmark of the Automobile Industry.

In recognition of this commitment, we won two of the total four awards presented at the BMW Asia After Sales Conference 2016. Prestige Automobiles was feted for Best Customer Care & Best Accessories Sales. BMW and MINI Training Department

Our Training Department is privileged to have our own highly-experienced and BMW-certified in-house Trainer. This enables us to deliver trainings in accordance with BMW guidelines and fulfil quality expectations which are set in these technical and non-technical sessions. With individual development plans for our employees, we relentlessly improve the knowledge and know-how that is required for day-to-day operation. These principles are the foundations which enable our staff to operate at global standards.

BMW Road Side Assistance

We offer a 24/7 Island-wide Road Side Assistance to provide you with peace of mind, in the event that your vehicle malfunctions while on the road. Hyundai strengthens the technical standard and service of our service advisors and repairs staff with diverse training programs and certification systems, put in place provide premium value to customers.

Our General Repairs Centre, located at the showroom is tasked with electronic and electrical diagnostics while the Unit Repairs Section is responsible for the repair and maintenance of engine, transmission and suspension systems.

Hyundai Training Department

The Global Service Support Centre (GSSC) provides next-generation remote diagnosis and support services for difficult repairs, to ensure speedy and accurate maintenance.

BMW and MINI Workshop

In our modern workshops we look into the health of your vehicle. Our certified technical staff will attend to your vehicle, following the latest repair and maintenance instructions provided by BMW and MINI. The use of exclusive special tools and diagnostic equipment, combined with access to Original BMW and MINI Parts, sets us ahead in terms of BMW Service and enables us to deliver uncompromised quality.

We are geared to undertake services and repairs on the complete range of BMW and MINI vehicles, including the innovative iPerformance range and the BMWi electric cars, such as BMW i3 and i8.

The Prestige Automobile Body Shop

The only BMW and MINI-authorised Collision Repair Centre in Sri Lanka is located near our main Service Centre. In event of an accident, we will return your vehicle to its original condition through use of our sophisticated equipment. Our straightening system, from CAR-O-LINER, enables fast and ergonomic working procedures. The high-performance straightening device can be quickly setup and provides precise measurement during the critical phase of restructuring the vehicle to its original form. We can assure you that the safety and quality standards of your BMW or MINI will be matched after the repair completion.

Whether the body panels of your vehicle are made from steel, aluminium or innovative materials such as carbon fibre, our trained experts have the right tools. With the use of environmental-friendly water-based paint, a factory-like finish and colour matching can be achieved. All of our paint repair work comes with an exclusive and unique 4 years warranty.
